How Forging Works
- Two weapon types. Forging makes either a Katana (fast, multi-hit) or a Greatsword (slow, heavy hits with area damage). Three guides agree on this.
- Materials decide the result. The mix of ores you put in decides what you get and how rare it is. One wiki says you can add up to 4 different materials per forge, or stack one high-tier ore.
- Armor is random. Forging in the Armor tab gives either a Helmet or a Chestpiece at random. You can't choose which. Two sources agree.
- Preview before forging. One wiki says a preview shows whether your mix leans toward a Katana or a Greatsword.

"1 wiki" means only one community wiki lists the recipe. It says its recipes come from community testing, but links no videos, so treat them as unconfirmed. We have not forged these ourselves.
How Reliable Are These Recipes?
Only Phantom Violet appears in two separate guides. The other six come from a single fan wiki. The materials they use do match where that wiki says each ore drops, which is a good sign, but no second source confirms them yet.
Since armor comes out as a Helmet or a Chestpiece at random, the Shadow Shogun combo may not always give a helmet.
Several fan wikis with almost the same name exist for this game. They are separate sites, and the recipes above appear on only one of them.
Where to Find the Materials
According to the same community wiki:
- Stages 5–6: Amethyst, Nova Ore, Fire Crystal
- Stage 7: Emerald, Mystic Crystal, Gold, Sapphire, Obsidian, Fire Crystal
- Stages 24–26: Apex Ore
Do You Lose Forged Gear When You Rebirth?
No. Rebirthing resets your Power in exchange for permanent Power and Coin multipliers, and two sources say your forged weapons and armor stay in your Backpack. Rebirth milestones also unlock extra race slots.
Not the Same as The Forge Recipes
